These are the last cards that I will post from this color set . I know it is enough, but I love the color combo. These cards are part of the project I made for the Flaunt it Fridays challenge for this week and they include an extra inspiration coming from Debi´s blog "Dizzy Lizzy´s Creations"... if you have a chance, go and visit her blog, she has great projects and her own challenge.

Flaunt it Fridays TBBM challenge: "Match box"

For today the challenge at Flaunt it Friday is to use one of the boxes at the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cart. My project for this week is this little box that is perfect size for a A2 size card set. Perfect for a gift. The design matches with the card of my previous post.

Have a wonderful day / Que tengas un maravilloso día

A simple card but that looks to me, femenin and Stylish .
The colors: Aqua, Melon and Craft were match the challenge for this week at Just Us Girls.

I just want to share with you what I found today here at blog-land...

Flamingos

I made this card today thinking in several challenges that are running out this week at "blog-land". Besides, I´ll send this card to my blog candy winner. I made the card with her blog on my mind. Although I don't know her personally, I do know from her blog that she likes Flamingos and that her birthday is coming soon. She has been celebrating her birthday on her blog all this month, giving wonderful presents from her to her readers. So I want to send something for her. She is a wonderful artist and I hope she likes this card when she receives it.

Tarjeta hippie para un aniversario / A "Hippie" Aniversary Card

My uncle and his wife are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. So for this card, I tried to see the things that happened through the ages when they were dating and starting their new life together.
This is a "retro" card with a little bit of humor on it. I like the style because it makes the card interactive.
The gift from their children will be a new/modern TV, and from there came the idea of using the "old TV" on the card.
The retro TV was made using my G and FMK, George and Freshly Picked cartridges. If anyone is interested on the .gypsy file, just leave me a comment asking for it along with an e-mail address, and I´ll be sending it.

The sentiment says: "Since the hippies days, some things have changed..."

Challenges:
Crafting with Cristina: Interactive cards
Cooking with cricut: Emboss it!
Whimsical Wednesday Color challenge

¨The text on the TV says:
"Now it´s time to change this TV! (This card is good for a new TV)"
and on the other side, the sentiment says:
"What never changes is the love between you.  Happy 40th anniversary"

It´s hard to see by the pictures but the green background paper is heat embossed with clear embossing powder and the orange squares are embossed with a CB folder.

A Friday to be Forever Young / Un viernes para ser Por siempre jóven

It's Friday!   ¡Es viernes!

Perfect time to relax, calm down and to feel young!
Momento para relajarse, calmarse y perfecto para sentirse jóven.

This week's challenge at Flaunt it Fridays blog is to use the silhouette cut  on page 24 form the Forever Young cartridge.

I came up with this little note block cover that was inspired by my DT sister Corri. You can see the tutorial as well as her fantastic creations by clicking here.

El verdadero amor no envejece / True love never grows old

I couldn't let Fabruary goes without use his cut from the A Child's Year cartridge... Isn't it cute?
Although this card could be a Valentine´s day card, I made it thinking in a Wedding anniversary. My Uncle and his wife will be celebrating this year their 40th anniversary and I think that sentiment is perfect for them.

Paper and sentiment are from DCWV Love&Wedding stack.

I made this card for the following challenges:
Cooking with Cricut: "Something sweet" (And sure this image is sweet!)
My Pink Stamper: Black with your favorite color or colors!! (Black, shades of gray and that deep red!)
My Sheri Crafts: Challenge#44-Valentine's/Love
So Saturday Challenge #3: a project that uses just the colors black, white and 1 other color
Jitterbuggin: Black and White and Red All Over!

Valentine's Day Card

A little bit more than a year ago, Sheri Decker posted a card very similar to this one at the Cricut Message board. At that time I did't have the Sweethearts cart but I completely loved the card, so I saved the picture and waited for the moment in which I could make a replica of it.

This week my cousin's husband asked me for a Valentine's Day card for her, and she happens to be a Chef. I inmediately remembered this card and here is my version of it. I really wanted to make this card, but I wanted it for someone special and my cousin is so close to me, so there couldn't be better person for this.
The card will be for my cousin from her husband and her son.

Woman and hearts from Sweethearts.
Stove and pot from From My Kitchen.

This is a shot of the inside.
I just tie the card with the ribbon to keep
it closed, instead of use an envelope.

I used Gypsy font for the sentiment.
Spice was cut from Freshley picked

Hope you like this and thank you to Sheri Decker for the inspiration!

Welcome to the Paper Doll Dress Up Blog Hop

Woo Hoo... It's friday! And today is a special friday because we have our Flaunt It Fridays PDDU blog hop!
If you are here from SAUNDRA's blog then you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go directly to the Flaunt It Friday's, so you won't miss any of the projects everyone made for today.
I love Paper Dolls Dress Up cart, it was one of my first cartridges and it is still one of my favorites. It is full of nice and useful cuts.
For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Raggedy Ann and/or Raggedy Andy. For my project I made 2 gift bags one for a girl and one for a boy.
Both bags were cut from TBBM and the sayings were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. (I have to say that I love that "Happy Birthday" from CC) and of course the focal point of the bags is the Raggedy doll.

Now for my second project... we got to choose any cut from the PDDU cart and I chose the Super hero on page #56. I made this door hanger for my nephew who is 4 years old. His name is Valentin, and he is my daugther's best friend, so I thought we can make this for him for Valentine's day. The hanger base is a piece of wood that my daugther painted. His favorite colors are black, red, blue and yellow so those are the colors of the hero costume. The doll was cut at 2.5" and the name is from Mickey font, cut and welded with my G.

I love candies and specially blog candies, so in honor of Raggedy Ann and Andy and I will be giving this cute Rub on Transfers.

Aren't they cute?
All you have to do to have a chance to win them is to leave a comment on this post and I will be choosing one winner next monday. But wait! I see that I have 85 followers now, so if I reach 100 followers I will be adding an extra goodie to the prize and I will be choosing 2 winners instead of one. (2 equal candies)

Remember that you have to leave comments on all of the stops if you want to be elegible to win the Grand Prize Giveaway: The Wide Eyed Kids Assortment Stamp set Sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps!

Flaunt it Fridays and Cooking with cricut challenges

Another friday, another challenge at Flaunt it Fridays... Today, Team 1 is flaunting the Lips cut from Indie Art... I am on team 2 but I couldn't just sit aside and after seeing thier projects I came up with this card.  There is a lot of inspiration at the Flaunt it Fridays blog, so hop there and join us with your own project!.

It is a Tri Shutter card and this is the one I will give to my Husband for Valentine's day.

This is a view of the card closed... (I don't know why I can't rotate it... :s)
It is hard to see by the picture, but the red rectangles were embossed with the Cuttle bug hearts blocks folder.
"SMACK" and the lips cuts are from Indie Art
"Love"  is from Sweethearts.

The Challenge from Cooking with Cricut is to complete a project with a shadow, and on this card all the Cricut cuts were done two times, one in the original feature and the other one in the shadow feature. The words were shadowed in black and the lips shadow is white.

I hope you like this card and If you feel like you
want to write, please leave me a comment... I love to read comments from my blog visitors.
