Birthday Sundaes Challenge #23 : Green, pink and white

Happy Sunday!
Today's challenge at Birthday Sundaes is a color challenge and Kristie couldn't choose a better combination of colors... Green, pink and white and the use of any neutral color is allowed, so I included brown to my card... (I think the world must be brown (lol) you can combine it with any other color and delicious things such as chocolate and coffee are brown)
Any way, when I think in green, pink and white (with a sprinkle of brown) I can't but think in the Kate's ABC Cricut cartridge, and I have to say that the heaviest part of this card was to decided which cut us for it. Once I have chosen my cut every thing came up easily, even when by accident I found an old small jar with those "brads" I have forgotten about.

I inked the borders of the cut and embossed the base with my CB, The base and the frame are from Accent Essentials. The sentiment was computer generated and printed with my loyal Epson printer.
I hope you join us this week at the BIRTHDAY SUNDAES blog, specially because this week's challenge is sponsored by our DT colleague SUE from The Scrappings of Sue so you can win a Nestabilities Large Scallop Ovals Set!!! How good is that?
I can't wait to see all your green, pink and white birthday cards.
Hope you all have a blessed week!

Birthday Sundaes challenge: All about Brads

This week's challenge at Birthay Sundaes Blog is to create a Birthday Card using at least 3 brads on it.
This is a birthday card I made for a special person who will be receiving as her gift from her family, a trip to Europe (such an amazing gift!!)
The plane and it's banner are from New Arrival Cricut cartridge.
Papers are from K&Company Lemon Citron and Sparkly Sweet stacks.
I  knit the little chain and used eyelets to join them from the plane to the banner.
Brads are used on the plane's propeller and on the left upper corner as embellishments.
Sentiment is a Hero arts stamp.

Birthday Sundaes challenge #21

Wow! What a busy and fun week we had!
There were lots of wonderful cake/cupcake cards this week and all of us at the DT had so much fun with the blog hop. I hope (and I know) you did too.
So today is a very special day because this is our first official challenge as a new design team, we also have a new sponsor this week and I have the announcement of my blog candy winner...
Let me introduce you our sponsor for this week:

¡Vaya! Qué semana tan ocupada y divertida hemos tenido.

Gingerloft, is offering one lucky person 3 digis of her choice!!! All you have to do for a chance to win is to enter your card at the Birthday Sundaes Blog... this week's challenge is the everyone's favorite: "Anything goes as long as it is a birthday card".

Here is my card for this week. It came out pretty masculine despite of the glitter I added to the cake (lol) and I am happy about that because I was almost out of masculine cards.
I had lots of fun making this card  because after I colored my image with markers, I decided to rip and  distress every layer on the card.

Mojo Monday 202

It looks like I've been having more time to play with my craft items this week!  {Happy dance here}
This is a quick scrapbook page that I made using the sketch from this week's challenge at Mojo Monday. As you can see scrap booking is not my strength, but it feels good to make some scrap booking out of so many cards. And my little one is happy because it is all about her. (he he)
This page will be the first page of the album that I am making for my daughter with pictures of when she was at a Kids garden which name is "Play Time". That was last year but I am way behind on my scrap booking. (Just in case you are wondering why I wrote down Play Time as the title if she is not playing on the picture (lol))

Hope you like it and if you have any advise that could makes me improve on my scrap booking, PLEASE feel free to leave a comment... I love to read comments!

First time at Cricut 360° / Mi primera vez en Cricut 360°

Since Cricut 360° challenge blog born I've been wanting to play with them, but for one reason or another I always missed the closing dates. Today I finally  end my card on time and here it is my entry for this week's challenge. This week's theme is "Transportation"
At the moment I saw the theme, I thought in this cut from Sweethearts cartridge. I love how romantic this card came up! I wanted to pop up the cut so as embellishments I only used some flower beads and small pieces of cord that I had stored.
I will also entry this card to My Craft Spot Monday Challenge which theme for this week is You make me smile.
I hope you like this one.

If you are looking for the Birthday Sundaes Blog Hop, please click HERE

First things first, let's go with the Sandra's Butterflies Birthday Blog Hop candy winner!
I used Random.org to select my winner and the follow was the result:

CONGRATULATIONS PAMMIE KAY!!!!!

You won a set of your choice of Dyed Crinkle Ribbon from My Craft Spot.

Now on the note card set:

I made this set of cards as a gift for a very good friend of my mom.
I used Damask Decor card feature and tag feature and made the box out of one sheet of card stock a few folds.
Embellished both the cards and the box with ribbon.
What I like the most of these type of gifts is that the recipient could use the cards for what ever motive she has, they could be Birthday, Congratulations, Thinking of you or even Sympathy cards.
I also print out a set of name cards and added them to the box.

I hope you liked this and thanks for visiting me!
Espero les haya y gracias por visitarme!
